Diego Garzón

 

Born in Bogota, Colombia 1988

 

Diego Garzon is an audio engineer with a broad knowledge within the musical industry.  As an Audio Engineer He has extensive experience working on professional music productions, creating high quality audio and excellent mixes for live shows. Diego studied in one of the best Audio Schools in Colombia;  “Escuela de musica y audio Fernando Sor” and He has worked on many big productions and live concerts doing FOH mixing, monitor mixing and audio design for different artists, companies, music festivals and events.

With a history of over 200 shows and presentations behind the consoles, he has become a particularly proficient audio engineer.

Recently he has been mixing and running production and Broadway shows on  a variety of cruise ships. Diego has an in depth understanding of analog and digital equipment spanning many brands, this facilitates the fast and efficient operation of his audio tools whilst working under the inherent pressures of live shows.

 

Diego also has a wealth of experience with studio recording and independent music production. He has been producing music for bands, artists and commercials for acclaimed brands such as: Pepsi, Toyota, Chevrolet, Alcatel, Redd’s, Chiqlets adams and more.

His audio post production experience is extensive, having completed audio design for radio, tv jingles and tv commercials.Having studied music in the “Sergio Arboleda University” in Bogota, Colombia, Diego is an accomplished guitar musician in his own right. He has performed on some of the biggest stages in Colombia for more than 50.000 people playing a wide range of music styles including: rock, pop, funk, jazz, hip hop, latin, dance, disco and more. Diego is a session musician recorder and has the ability to read charts, make musical arrangements and record electric and acoustic guitars.

Diego Garzon has produced from conception to completion more than 70 pieces of music for bands, artists, singers, commercials and brands.He is looking forward to continuing his career as a working professional and expert in the audio and music for the entertainment industry with the ability and versatility to perform as an audio engineer, music producer and musician.
